I am only talking small figures .
Previous window cleaner gave me is contacts on a street.
When got there i did my quotation as recommended by u helpful people.
Came to £9 all three customers where shocked as they only payed £4 previous.
I explained the previous window cleaner will not be returning, (Maybe due to his prices).
Comment from one person was that i must drink shorts in my local pub.

I replied to her that i didn't drink and i actual give 5% of my income to  cancer back up charity, for the second life this people have given me.

After that one of the people said how nice and on second thoughts i will have mine cleaned.

I turned her down and told them to have a drink on me.

Why do they think we are all drunks

Why do they think we are all drunks

It all really boils down to the 'customer's perception of window cleaners'.

All the window cleaners I know, without exception (the one that spoilt this has since stopped window cleaning), are all decent hard-working people; some well qualified in other areas; and many of whom have strong religeous beliefs too.

None of them are drunks or 'burglars in disguise'.

I think we have to work hard at presenting a better image and go that extra mile to beat the stereo-typical image of a window cleaner.

If only to satisfy our own self-esteem.
