These have been available as old as time. A little clip next to it to hang the hose and that’s what people used....many years ago.

Nowadays though with a univalve everyone seems to just coil the hose up In your hand and walk round the property. Either way you’ve got trailing hoses that can snag, but Atleast this way it’s not attached to your hip.

Hman......... please don’t think people are being rude........ it’s just your ideas are all
So old. In the uk the wfp is leaps and strides above most countries id say.

It’s a different market. We sometimes have to clean 30 properties a day on a monthly frequency. Efficiency is key, we have our set ups that fastest way we can think of, and it doesn’t match up to places like America or Australia where you clean properties a few times a year at most.

It appears that you didn't even watch the video.
As it had nothing to the water switch.
And have heard many people on this forum complaining that there pole hose are always under feet when they have brought there pole down to use at lower level.
This address this.
Might help if you check video out first.

Yes as you can see that is where pole hose in coiled.(Right hand side)
And  the main hose is behind on the belt.
But of cause if you life handed you can swap it around.

This is also for the others that  has had problems relating to this.

With respect, even after watching the video I can't see the advantage.  That hose hanging on my waist would be more of a hindrance and you would still have hose behind you on the floor.

The biggest reduction to tripping over the hose for me came when I started using the Exceed univalve and later the Gardiner twist valve and getting rid of the excess hose at my feet caused by having a tap strapped to my pole or belt when working on ground level windows.
We have a choice! We can do one or the other, the opposite, both, or neither depending on which way the wind is blowing.

No it wasn't Herman - sorry but you need to go get a life, then invent something that's not on the market AND is genuinely useful

You really waste your time hear, not for what you do but your total lack of understanding your potential customer base, what you do is not required, or wanted, just take it on board without all the silly justifications

So putting this up for the people here that have this problem.
Know not everyone agrees.
And make excurses why it doesn't work.
But the same people haven't got any ideas to this ether.
There are people that would be interested in this idea out there

Most of us just concentrate on actually cleaning windows Herman. We’re window cleaners not inventors.

If something useful comes to market that makes the job easier, better and/or quicker then we may be interested.

But most of your ideas up until now have been crap.

If you want to find other inventors then a window cleaning forum probably isn’t the place to look.

You have to laugh -

Human your trying to invent something for window cleaners then when those people point out it’s no good or it’s already on the market you then start criticising them - bizarre to say the least

Maybe Herman's ideas are his inventions. To get us thinking and talking about a product that no one is interested in. Or to think that they are not interested in but end up Googling a similar product and extolling its virtues even if they don't like or use  one.
I think that we are being controlled by Herman. He's a marketing plant.

Gents,  I find some of the comments on this thread rude and unnecessary.
I won’t be using the idea Herman is  demonstrating, but I wouldn’t insult and criticise him.
His motive was in the right place, to try and help fellow window cleaners.

Of cause the other problems this solves.
Is no more dragging your reel hose connection that is connected to the pole hose, over the ground wearing connection and snagging on things.
No more having to replace coupling all the time.
You can have any ON/OFF switch you like on this.
This will aluminate having to get expensive pole tubbing as well.
And finally for the people thinking is going to leak ?
Of cause it will leak if you don't put it on properly (Do a half job)

It’s not a joke Herman your jokes are the best anyway! I wear a belt I have a tap holster on it, I have a boab connector on it. I never take it off. I don’t want to get half undressed every time I jump into the van wearing your surgical truss.
Buy the right connector and they last for years anyway even when dragged about with no protector.
Most pole hoses won’t coil that tight either particularly at three degrees like it is today. If you want to stop dirt going up the inside of your pole, you could run the pole hose up the outside.
