Went down to the coast today, what a lovely evening. Beach, in the sea and a meal on the front. Glorious.

On Sunday I went for a walk from the County Gates car park on Exmoor on the border of Somerset and Devon.

The Bristol Channel looked as blue as a postcard and the Brecons in Wales had white topped clouds on them, otherwise the sky was gin clear.

It's one mile to the beach but 1,000ft down. Hard work walking back through the woods but a cracking afternoon out.
It's a game of three halves!

I love all the seasons.
Except when my pole hose freezes and that's usually only in the winter! ???

Each to their own but I really don’t understand why anyone would want to go abroad in the present climate.

Hope for the best but expect the worst.

I’d be surprised if you got away in October though to be honest. Looks like we’re heading into more lockdowns.

I had a couple weeks in Greece in August and it enabled me to pretty much forget the virus for a couple of weeks. Corfu was one of the safest places in the world during our stay there, only 2 or 3 positive tests.

Go for it Daz, hope your holiday goes ahead and you have a great time.

I dont think we ll have another lockdown like we had a few months ago jonny...certainly not for airports.....too many airlines will go bust if they do....

My mum and dads friends flew to tenerife 2 days ago for a month and their both in their late 70s!

Yes.

It probably doesn’t mean much from a stranger from the internet but my condolences daz,  it’s never easy losing a parent despite  past history.

Go on your holiday and relax, enjoy and try to switch off from your day to day.
