Applaud The NHS at 8:00 Tonight
« on: April 02, 2020, 04:31:00 pm »
Are we all going to applaud the NHS at 8:00 tonight to show our appreciation of the work they’re doing to save our lives?
We look at them, they look through them.

Yeah, me and my lad did it last week and we'll continue doing it.
My Dad, who is in 80's, did it too.

A real nice touch.   I like the fact they have now included other key workers like retailers.

Don’t really see the point  ??? I have utmost respect for those that care for others but why applause? I think it’s probably a townie thing?

Tomorrow they are doing the same for all the Fedex and Amazon drivers out there doing a sterling job.

Some time between 9am and 5pm.

It's a community thing. I know it's remote where you live but do it. Thatcher will turn in her grave.

It's a way of showing your neighbours that you care.

No-one's done it in my street yet.

Not in my street.

We followed government advice and stayed at home.

Not like Jeremy Corbyn, walking around the street, and people in terraced houses, standing next to their neighbours, clapping the Chinese plague all over each other.

He should've stayed at home and not broken government advice. :'(
