Old prochem blazer + wanted
« on: March 25, 2020, 08:24:17 am »
Hi I’m either after an old machine that is scrap or the top front pulley.
Prochem don’t stock the pulley anymore.
Any ideas ?

It will more than likely be a stock pulley of standard bore and outside dia.
Measure the bore etc and look online. You will probably find one reasonably priced.
What area are you I may be able to help.
God must love stupid people---He made so many.

If you have a worn or damaged one as a template could you get a local engineer to make one for you?.... at some point

I’ve looked through the b&s pages nothing looks the same  the engineering idea is something I thought of also .
I contacted a company in the states that can get one for $190 🥴plus shipping 😢.
I’m currently trying to reshape the v with chemical metal (bodge it and scarper).

Can you post a picture of the actual part required.

Pulleys on shafts are a commonly used set up, you could change the full set up ( new pulleys at both ends and different belt)
