Seagrass carpet

I have client wants me to clean her carpet i have had my eye on the carpet for a bout a year it's the whole house iam going to use fibrdri prochem  and prespray the traffic lanes with split x and dry vac out is it wise using the split x  or just use fibrdri  I haven't done this type of clean before and I cant get in the house at the moment it's a progress thing for when i can

I think you’ll find that most experienced cleaners would not touch Seagrass, the risk is far too great. Using Fibredri will probably do no harm but it will not make any difference to the appearance of the floor covering and applying a water based pre spray could easily shrink it  and leave water marks.

Leave well alone, even dry cleaning is a waste of time as it does nothing to inprove the appearance of the carpet. Any staining is impossible to remove as are any watermarks. :(

You can make a nice difference but stains are the real problem
