DREAM CLEAN:
Hello All ,

I've been asked to clean tiled floor after the builders have been in
regrettably the grout has been spread over the tiles creating a discolour and washing just is not enough
May I ask for some advice on how to get rid and back to the new tile state
It cloudy looking , its fine when its wet but bad when its dry .

A lot depends on the

1.  total M2 involved
2.  The type and size of tile
3.  The amount (thickness of the grout haze)
4.  The type of grout used whether, Flexible, non Flexible or epoxy?

Answer me the above and I will be able to tell you the best way to remove it

OK you have porcelain plank tiles there.  They are designed to emulate wood.  They are a Matt riven surface and designed to be anti slip.  This also means that they should have been laid with a flexible grout and have by the looks of them been overwashed.  This means that the grout is going to be treated in sequence as follows to clean the tiles correctly and rid them of the haze completely.  Other methods will usually  only do half a job.

1.     Apply SRP Sealing and Coating Remover
2.     Apply SRP Xtreme Heavy Duty Tile and Grout Cleaner on top of step one
3.     Agitate using a soft to medium brush fitted to a Mono Rotary Scrubber
4.     Allow to dwell
5.     Agitate again
6.     Extract with wet vacuum
7.     Rinse with SRP Pink pH Neutral Cleaner
8.     Extract again with wet vac
9.     Allow to thoroughly dry.
10.  Seal with SRP Impregnating Sealer

Do a test area first to step 6 to ensure it works.  If for any reason it doesn’t you will need to add some SRP Hone 220 Powder after step 2 but I doubt there will be any problems I have done 1000’s of M2 of porcelain using this method always with perfect 100% results
