An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Partner to run the day to business of curtain & upholstery cleaning to help implement the existing partner expand in that field.
Job Purpose:
The key role purposes are as follows:
•   To drive business in Curtain & upholstery cleaning.
•   To implement orders and deliver.
•   To collect curtains and return.
•   Provide the existing partner with support on existing curtain cleaning contracts
Accountabilities:
•   Act as a strategic business partner to the owner.
•   Operate as an integral part of the supported operational Area Division, taking the lead on hiring new staff when the business expands.
•   Input into key industrial and employee relations projects and activities.
•   Participate in Area periodic and ad-hoc business meetings.
•   Monitor and support the completion of performance and leadership reviews.
•   Work with operational teams to devise development and succession plans.
•   Promote and drive the employee engagement agenda, particularly by assisting with completion and execution of engagement plans.
•   Provide advice to supported functions on policies, remuneration, working hours, terms & conditions of employment, procedures and best practices.
•   Preparing quotations to prospects and profit and loss reports for submission to the owner.
•   Develop and coach line managers in effective people management activities to ensure a focus on value add priorities and dealing efficiently with HR operational activities.
•   Participate in and leads ad hoc Group may be required.
Nature and Scope:
Education / Qualifications:
Educated up to degree level
Experience:
•   Probably a minimum of 5 years’ experience in curtains & upholstery cleaning , and decision-making role.
•   Experience of senior business partnering, preferably up to and including General / Regional General Manager level.
•   Familiarity conducting / finalising local pay negotiations.
•   Appropriate case management at all disciplinary stages, up to and including ET’s and all associated legal activities.
•   Experience of developing employee engagement action plans, and a strong understanding of performance management processes, talent management processes & succession planning.
