As above I thought I'll put out some info for others who may be looking to purchase some.
Basically these are really really good so good that Im decideding to let everyone know extremely comfortable keeps my feet bone dry and amazingly only £45. Worked through torrential rain recently and with a pair of their marine socks you do not feel the cold whatsoever they're completely on a different level to the £25 ones which aren't too bad either but these you can feel their much more comfortable the link is just here if you want to try them must say they're the best I've ever had in all the years

I stopped using the "walking boot" type footwear for work a couple of years ago.
I tried several different brands around the £40/£50 range and they all only lasted around 6 months or less before letting in water, usually due to the glue bond failing between the sole and upper.
So I just use work boots now, I think the last lot I had were Dunlop which lasted about a year and the Screwfix Site boots im currently wearing are getting on for one year of use.
I don't think I paid more than £30-£35 for them.

I have had a pair of site onyx for 3 years now...they have just starting letting water in from a hole in the sole from wear.

They are good boots and I will buy another pair.

I find Site boots uncomfortable,  my toes always feel squashed in them. Had 2 pairs now but won't buy another for this reason. Quality is good though.

I have tried all manner of boots from £30 Dickies to £90 Berghaus , and to be straight up I can honestly say that the Berghaus were the biggest let down of them all !
The best boots I have ever had came from Wickes , Rhino I think they are £25 , saw them in the summer a few years back and gave them a bash , still got them now and still waterproof to date .
