removing moss from pavers
« on: April 06, 2018, 02:06:56 pm »
Hi not sure if I'm in the right place but can anyone tell me the best way to remove moss from pavers. We have a large job where we have to remove moss then clean patio  Iknow there's a machine out there with a large steel brush on the end but its over £3000 to buy and the other way is a round brush that you connect to a Stihl grass cutting machine and that's over £500 plus new brush every job £50-00  .The moss is quite loose but it would take us over a day just to remove the moss alone by hand  Many thanks Des

Hello des,

Sometimes a picture is better, not sure what machine your referring to but a decent prsssure washer would shift that for you.

If u now thinking about a machine best to get in touch with Rutland pumps, a Honda gx390 with lances and hoses won't cost £2000 if u want to add a whirlaway they about £350 or so.  There won't be a need for extra costs on each job, maybe a bit of maintenance but that's it.

If u wanting a chemical to put down just nip over to general cleaning and find posts with " hypo "or use search bar
