« on: March 25, 2018, 03:10:39 pm »
Lads when making your own softwash recipe is there anything readily available in hardware or shops that I could use to take bleach smell of the hypo?

Thanks in advance

Perhaps if you done a little bit of research yourself after having received a perfectly good answer from SimonR,  instead of expecting other people to Google it for you, your 3rd post wouldn't have been needed at all ;D

Kevin seriously do me a favour and just exclude your opinion when I ask anything going forward.
Most peeps on here are happy to help and discuss things but some in the minority like yourself try to drag the tone down. Maybe try the old saying if you have nothing nice to say dont say anything 👍😉

Not once have I ever knocked a person on this forum nor would I but each to their own

Would you add it to hypo before mixing your softwash recipe or to water and hypo mix and  how much of concentrate  do you add?

Learn to get over yourself.  I have helped you a couple of times on this forum as have many others.  Accept that when you get advice you have to do a bit of work yourself as well towards the end result.  If you don’t like the straight answers don’t ask the questions.  Sometimes the solution costs money and you can’t always be a cheapskate.  Products like  Algoclear and Spray and Walk Away are a bit more complicated than a bit of Hypo with some Perfume in and contrary to popular belief don’t work the same.  Try writing to a Professional company with a set of RAMS and include MSDS sheets for Hypo and Perfume.

It’s a private joke between Chris and I ;D. But if you really want to know you can buy Brut,  Old Spice and for the really old Pensioners like Mike Halliday even Hai Karate at any BOYES stores.

In all seriousness I havnt been on this forum for at least 2 years and guess why?
It was people like you who made me stay away from it.  People don’t use forums to argue, we all have wives for that? People come on here for help, and if a person says “where can I get **** from?” You can find it on google.... but that person might be interested in the best supplier? Or best value?  Or the cheapest postage? I could keep listing possible reasons as to why they asked that question.
I have looked at a few recent posts and your comments are often blunt and unhelpful ;D and that is why me and many others I speak to stay away from this forum now.
It’s full of keyboard warriors who can’t wait to argue  ::)roll enjoy

Have you looked at Zoflora ingredients?

It contains benzalkonium chloride

Not a great player with hypo -

This is only my opinion  and not advice.
I proceed with caution when offering the additional option of Sodium Hypo-chloride. I always explain to the custard what the product is and how it can be dangerous to wildlife, family pets, bordering lawns and flowerbeds after the initial application and rinse off; i reflect this in the quotations.  I prefer to leave the hypo smelling of it's original odour as a reminder to the custard of it's corrosive nature. I started to use a bubble gum smelling kennel detergent to disguise the smell but customers were commenting that the smell made them feel hungry. In my opinion custards rarely listen to you when you are pointing out the dangers of anything you are quoting for.
