But having said that , i do think this is a worthy thread .
I have just been pondering on fitting my 250 back in the van in place of the 350 , i have been getting home with the region of 150 L left for some time now , dont quite know why as i dont do  less than before , took out 350 today and did 10.30 until 3.30 and got home with pretty much bang on 175 L

The Uni-Valve has saved me some considerable water!

I use a tap valve or i simply pinch the hose on my trolley brush. I did have the gardiner twist valve gooseneck but it didnt seem to last overly long.
But it is amazing how much water you can save by switching off after each window cleaned.

Mostly wooden frames apart from the rear patio doors which are plastic.
These are cleaned every four weeks so the frames dont need scrubbing, just a light washing over each time.
However I dont wash down the big wooden door which you see when im emptying the tank.

Lol I'll not post it again (yippee i hear you shout haha) but i did a video showing typically what my white plastic frames look like after a 4week gap. I must be fortunate because i am pretty much cleaning clean windows and frames all the time.

I dont mean to call you out but , if they are wood then surely they must be caked with webs even on a monthly cycle , i know my wood jobs do , same sort of surroundings , but then you do use a 6 foot brush with car wash jetting 

If you can get away with it then power to you bud , i would not even attempt that with my backpack for fear of scimping to get it done .
Out of interest what do you price that at , just curious ?

Lol guess the little eight legged pests dont like being blasted with hot water and finally got the message  not to come back.
 

Seriously though, i may get the odd build up of webs but certainly not on every window.

Price....... Rather not say lol,    I dont mind stiring some trouble but people (not urself, but others)  do get hyped up about prices  and the gloves seem to come off

He had a bout half a barrel left! So 15 litres tops to clean all that.

id charge at least £30 for that property on an 8 weekly cycle and id defo use more than a 25l barrel of water(including frames and doors)and expect to clean it under 30 mins.

Ok let the pricing debate begin.
They pay £25 every four weeks to maintain their ckean windows, frames and doors and normally this house is cleaned via the van system as I did state I used the trolley just for this thread. (so can register how much water is used on average).
30 mins completed and thats setting up and packing away as well.

That looks like a £20 house to me.  Id use 35-40L.  On average i seem to use 1.5-2x the value of work in a day.  So for example £300 work would be 450-600L used
