Hi allI have been working for a couple of years with 3 of us out of an L200. 500 litre tank with two fixed reels and the third person uses a back pack and a 25litre drum on the back seat to refill. It has been great but not ideal as space is very limited and the fact we have to waste time waiting for refill back pack.We are awaiting our new VW Transporter Kombi and obviously changing the set up dramatically. My question is does anyone have any pics of there 3 man set up I can have a look at and get some ideas on how we are going to achieve this so we do not have to use a backpack anymore.Or has any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks in advance
Good Evening,Here is an example of a 3 operator setup we kitted out last week (customer preference on reel types and location).https://www.facebook.com/grippatank/photos/a.620802614656447.1073741825.378847752185269/1594965613906804/?type=3&theaterLooks great https://www.facebook.com/grippatank/photos/a.620802614656447.1073741825.378847752185269/1594965530573479/?type=3&theater
Unless the "third man" is a general assistant earning little money I don't see how you can run a three man system without at least 1000 litres, preferably 1200. (So payload up around 1500kg minimum)I ran a 2 man on domestic and usually used up my 650L tank by 3.30pm with a 9 am start. Just before putting Dan the Man in his own van we would also take two or three 50L barrels to make sure we had enough.
