hosereel elbow connectors

Is there any other connectors out there apart from the brass elbow ones. Last 2 i have had failed within few months. Water  dripping out i noticed.

Have you thought about Rectus 26 series for your reel-feed?, admittedly I have not used this series 'live' yet but my new leccy-reel has Rectus 26 fittings..... Possibly worth a try.

Here's the missing photo.

It has a male fitting where our hose reels are a male thread. Not sure what female to female threaded sockets are available in that thread though.

i have a similar fitting on my cox reel spruce.really solid fitting.i use rectus 26 fittings too.never any leaks.
price higher/work harder!

Used the brass ones for years. Past 2 i have had are rubbish

The Brass ones always leak after six months or so I just put em down as consumables,

The brass elbow ones have an Allen key fitting on the inside. Unscrew and replace the washer. Job done.

I have done this before , built one from two i had laying about , but where do you get your washers from ?
I'm so lazy I'm getting tired of it !

Mark Munro put something on youtube regarding push fittings to hosereel,check out his YouTube videos, has some really good tips.
