You will get very poor water flow due to the "bore" of the pole hose.

I might try replacing half the hose length and check to see if flow is still adequate cheers.

I dont. I have a flow jet pump
I changed to the exceed blue hose after going tubeless and was so impressed by how light and hardwiring it was, I fitted 100 mtrs of it. I have 20 mtrs of  mini hose from the reel with a reducer down to the exceed hose

I use 100 meters of Gardiners heavy duty pole hose on a van mounted proloc reel. Then 15 meters of pu hose on end of that tubeless system . Flow is plenty for me with a 100 psi shurflow and controller usually set between 35 and 50. I like the heavy duty pole hose better than all pu because its a bit heavier and thicker and needs to be laid across roads and pavements.

Yes i like the gardiners pu pole hose all my poles are fitted with it now. I think the reinforced pole hose will be better to lay flat as i also have to lay mine over roads. Did you have to warm the reinforced pole hose to get it to lay flat or is it good to go straight from the box thanks.

from memory I think I just fitted to reel and unreeled all of it and then connected a pole and pumped water through, disconnected and left pressurised for maybe 30 mins and then reeled it back up.... was good to go.  ;)

A tip for anybody wanting to join two different hoses with barbed joiner and o clips..... Sometimes this then gets snagged easily. I bought some polymorph ( google it and buy from eBay ) plastic grains that melt in hot water and are then moldable until cool .... Wrap this over the join. Will minimise snagging, strengthen and protects the fitting against wear and leaks. Simply put in hot water again to melt and remove it - re usable too.

The water needs to be boiling or just boiled to melt it, doubt hot water system would be enough to melt it ( I'm cold water only )

Never heard of this before looks  good as I have the green pu hose tubeless attached to my minibore and the O clips often get snagged  also I have the proloc reel how did you connect from reel to reinforced pole hose have you a link to what connector I would need. Thanks .

Hard to remember without taking all the hose off the reel  :D.........
.......... but I think my proloc came already supplied with a  brass  threaded barb . I just screwed that on and fitted the hose with an o clip. Something like this http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/metal-male-screw-thread-to-hose-barb-fittings.html . Not 100% on the size ... think it may have been 1/4" to 6 mm barb.

Cheers never seen mine as it came already fitted with 8mm hose and never had the 100metres fully laid out,  how long have you been using the pole hose?  Sound a good idea just wondering how long it will last.

Been using Gardiners heavy duty pole hose getting on for a year now with no issues and just replaced 15 meters of exceed blue for Gardiners green pu on end of reel for tubeless pole set up.
