I wanted to find out before fitting as removing o-clips are nightmare if I had to change hose 
Paul, removing o-clips is actually very simple and takes seconds. Using a set of o-clip pliers cut or "nibble" through the "ear" of the o-clip bit by bit which will result in the "ear" being totally cut-off. Do the same to the other side. Job done!
I did this the other day as I had a Univalve playing up and it literally took less than 10 seconds.
Steve from Exceed did a video on this but I can't seem to find it at the moment. I'll put up a link if I do find it.
