how many of jobs do you re gain after your old custy has moved. I don't seem to get many back they have  the old windy they already have or I have been beaten to it by another cleaner .so in future I am going to be  a bit more quicker to re gain the job back.

Not many because I'm too lazy to bother.

If a custy says I am moving I say k thanks and then delete them from the round.

some i get back, some dont want a window cleaner, others are messers and get dropped and sometimes they "import" their old windy from a previous address, occasionally another windy picks them up when canvassing/leafleting,etc.

all our rounds are built on shifting sand.im always picking up a steady trickle of new jobs here and there too so it balances itself out.9 times out of 10 i also charge a little bit more for new jobs too so over time my round gets that little bit more profitable.
price higher/work harder!

I have a little flyer which i give to the existing customer and they put it in with the other stuff they hand over or leave on the side for new people. Especially if its customers who i have had for years.
But i also post one after they move in when im next in the area.
Some i get straight away, some after several months ad alot seem to do much work in the house before sorting this tyoe of stuff out. Yet others dont want one etc as some have already said.

The return rate is very high though. Same when you loose work due to a death. All the legal bickering etc can take years before the house is even sold

I have had a bad time lately of customer and the sad thing they seem to be many of my best customers, And when I knock up the new home owner, they of the ones who don`t  clean windows and don`t even speak English. I don`t know how they can even buy a house.
