We have had several reports of this over the past 2 month. If anyone else has been affected please contact the police on 101.

Please be warned of a couple who are claiming to have cleaned your windows in the Midville Walk, Fulbeck Road area of Netherfields. The robbing scum (man and pregnant woman) demanded payment from my 68 year old mum, on Tuesday night. My parents were in all last week. When my mum challenged them, the bloke claimed he was a "honest man and wouldn't do such a thing". My mum then asked what day the windows were cleaned and both of them couldn't remember, stating it was either Thursday or Friday!!! Bearing in mind I was at my parents all day on both those days and no window cleaners turned up. My mum ended up giving him £5 payment because he was trying to make my mum out to be a liar. My mum even asked if he had turned up why wouldnt he leave a note through the letterbox and he stated he didnt have any (how professional). Found out yesterday and this morning, they've pulled the same trick with 4 neighbours and also claimed double payment from one. 2 of these neighbours were also in the house all week and also challenged them about not turning up, yet again these 2 pulled the same same story about being honest and decent and in return ending up receiving payment. I only wish I was inside the house because I wouldn't of given them payment. But scum like that pray on the older generation and I'm aware it's our word against theirs. I just want everyone to be warned. Thank you.
