Hate this time of year. The cold just makes it so stiff, it gets stuck and caught constantly, it wont lay down properly, when i pull it it gets a bit too kinky,
Using warm/hot water does help in hose management in cold weather. Use a rage when reeling in the hose also helps and maybe wear gloves to stop your hands getting dirty too.

At least with wfp its fairly easy to deal with shiite, i can remember several incidents when using ladders of getting it in the grooves of the ladder steps. The 1st you'd know about it was coming down the ladder and being met with the unmistakable stench of cat muck, by which time it was probably on your hands, bottom of your jeans etc and generally meant a trip home to get the pressure washer out . I dont miss that one little bit.
