This is the one I use it is brilliant but it wont reach standard house gutters, I dont think any folding ladder would.  Mine is 3 or 4 years old not sure of the quality of newer ones

The most suitable type of ladder for 2 storey roofline work in my opinion would not be a folding type of ladder even if you could find one long enough. 12 rung triple bps ladders is what I tend to use that is also fitted with an ankalad (outriggers) and a microlite standoff that is designed to rest on roof tiles. They obviously would not fit inside most vans but right tools for the job and all that. http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=196854.0

Cheers folks

I'll look into these little giant ladders

Reaching the gutter be a bonus really as I do all gutter work from the ground anyway, i have a triple run ladder for higher work but it's a pain with it on the roof and I've had 2 ladders cut of the roof an robbed and a van break in in last year

These little giant ladders I take it are good enough heavy duty to be used daily folks?

I'm after some to , just to get on single storey flat roofs , I've seen some in screwfix for about £70 , look pretty descent, a lot sturdier than the extendable ladders

Sounds like your in the wrong game and should be selling/installing cctv security systems instead.

i wouldnt trust folding ladders if your using them for getting up to gutter height mate.3.5 metre trade ladders is what i use.

folding ladders are ok if your just using them for getting over gates etc but there always comes a time when you need a sturdy set(scraping paint or silicon off an upper window for example),fixing a gutter leak for a dear elderly customer or the odd job where you need to get up on a flat roof.

id stick with proper ladders and get some padlocks to lock them on your roof rack if i were you.
price higher/work harder!

I have the folding ladder/telescopic ladder from screwfix , does the same as the little giant but a lot cheaper , good quality and i use it a lot for conservatorys .

Like daz says though , for gutters you need a proper ladder .

The screwfix on is fine for first floor windows but much higher than that its too flexy.
