Its 3 phase, do you have that available to you? You can't run it off a 240v domestic supply. And that's the problem you can't run the flow & presure you need off a 240v plug....... What' type of work will you use it for?

its foe domestic use mike   long driveways  and patios  i dont know what 3 phase means  would i need a small petrol generator  i have a petrol chineeze copy   300psi   but its buggered   so i need a new washer     would the plug not fit straight into a house plug

3phase is used in heavy industrial application in factories. Etc.. It is 340v ( I think) the cost of a generator rated that high would cost more than a petrol washer..

If you are working at domestic properties plugging into thier home sockets then the maximum you can use is 3kw at 240v

Give em some foam ear plugs maybe. That might shut them up 

Electric type cold pressure washers  are really no good for pro use unless you go down the doff etc (super heated water) route which are specialist bits of kit that either use electric or petrol driven pumps.  Don't get these confused with cheapo hot pressure washers as they are totally different.


Still a doff type system is not ideal for large drives etc as would be too slow compared to a decent spec petrol/diesel pressure washer.

I suppose another option to consider in situations like that is SH softwash method. Apply chems, scrub if need be, let dwell then wash down afterwards with an electric washer or garden hose.

no smurf  iam going to keep it simple  i have been dabbling for 18 months  with my window cleaning customers  with my machine but its time to upgrade  had a job tomorrow  but the machines broke  so i have posponed it  till i  upgrade  i will post on here when i get a new one  it will be a petrol one now the info has been gathered  but i suppose its going to blow the  chineeze cop out of the water              i have been reading your softwashing posts  your very good and i respect you  for sharing the info   thank you for your help                   also  mike halliday     thank you     happy new year   i wish you health wealth and happiness

You won't get a electric machine capable of doing a decent job unless you are willing to take 5 times as long to complete the job.

The noise is just part of the job, if anyone complains just remind them that it s normal working hours and this is what you do for a living, if they have sleep problems why should that stop you earning a living. If is between 8-5 then they can't really complain

An electric pressure washer is useless unless it is 3 Phase.  Ring Ben at Rutland if you really want to upgrade and buy a Petrol Washer or even a Diesel.  If you want to be taken seriously leave electric well alone

For what u guna pay for the one in link at 15lpm u mays well go to 21 lpm for an extra few hundred pounds.
Best bet mate is ring Ben at Rutland pumps and have a chat with him

I had the pleasure of driving down to him from Liverpool  a few weeks back, I bought a new pump from him an wanted him to fit it.

I have a honda gx390 21 lpm, and like yaself I took advise from people on here, will be coming upto 2 years in march and was a great investment.
If u speak with him ask him which engine is the quietest, as noise is an issue, there may not be much but there may just be.

its not just the noise its the weight   as well    i have  terreced houses  aqnd lifting in and out  and through houses is a issue iam going to call them    thanks for advice

i have that  planned  iam going to buy a reel  and  20m hose on it and get it mounted on the handle   i have 2 10m extentions anyway

its the weight   of it  might do it seperate and not mounted 
  i can never get parked outside of properties  sometimes iam in the next street  drop off all kit leave in front garden  and drive  round  till i find a space
