Hi mate, quick question, do you vent your L5 heater, if not has the wind ever blew the pilot light out with your van doors open?

He doesn’t have an L5 he has an L10.

I asked him that Tripster, he reckoned no.

I've found L5's do blow out in the least bit of wind,

That was another reason why I thought they were crap compared to a Fastar 8L LPG heater i use now.

I used an L5 for 5 or 6 years and I think it blew out twice.. just turn your flow off and on and it will start up again.

They are  ;D

If you can get the flow rate spot on then they can be ok but they tend to fluctuate a bit.
They don't have a pilot light as such, they fire up on demand. Some have a cut out and also a co2 cut out if it builds up.
