working temperature
« on: May 26, 2006, 02:29:24 pm »
I have just finished a meeting with one of my customers a very large prestige hotel.
The problem was with the wear and rippling effect of a carpet that was laid 12 months ago.

My customers asked from day one that the carpet be cleaned by the host method which I did so there was no come back to me concerning the wet cleaning method.

The conclusion was that the underlay was at fault. However during the discussion there was mention of double sticking that is gluing the underlay to the flooring and gluing the carpet to the underlay? Would wet cleaning affect this and at what temperature should we be working safely with. And is that the temperature of the water with built in heaters.

Regards

Andy
