thats what i use smurf a l5 ecotemp when it brakes ill try a 8l one i think one other niggle i have with mine is the pilot light can blow out if there is a breaze blowing throu the van to u have this issue with your 8l heater?

mines an L10.much better than the L5 IMO.bigger,more robust,no pressure problems or wind blowing out the flame.im very happy with mine.
