I don't know what it tastes like as use one of these to protect my eyesight more so when soft washing with SH or any other chem for that matter. http://www.screwfix.com/p/face-shield-clear/6540d#_=p

I also wear a face shield when pressure washing too. Also handy in bright sunlight as you can wear sunglasses as normal underneath the face shield when required.

if a first clean is really filthy then i just spray virosol (in a pressure sprayer) at the windows and frames, leave for a few minutes and wfp off(with hot water).results are really good.normally i just use hot pure for first cleans though.

i would never use bleach.

1.i hate the smell of the stuff!

2.its a very strong chemical that could damage a customers property/plants etc(i wouldnt like to take the chance).

the end. ;D
price higher/work harder!

Ninty percent of the time the bleach will never kill plants as it will evaporate into the air before it did any damage.  Why does adding rubbing alcohol clean glass so well and not kill pond life or plants for the same reason it will evaporate before it damage is don. I have a water but outside with had tadpoles in so I added a cup of bleach to rid them it took nearly a liter t ride them. Household bleach is about 2% or less pure and soft wash is max 14/15 % and when you mix it its 3/4 % pure but the are buffers in the surfactant and an oxygenator involved.
There are just too many experts who have not idea how soft work as hypo is only a part of the formula used . It boils down to a stronger Virosol and we all love that stuff.  I can see from the input into some of the remarks on this subject that many have a scant or no scientific understanding, except for the E U crazy rules on safety. The best potential in the U K has been killed off with E U crap ideas with the nanny state etc.

A weak softwash mix does work on glass, plastics etc as I've been known to use this method myself.

A good example of this for instantce is Benz blackwash (SH mix) which so happens to also be H&S approved.

;D this forum should carry a warning.                                                                 Caution: contains nuts!                                   I bet those tadpoles were 'gone in a flash'.                                                                          Toad you so.

That was a tad(pole) harsh.

But Dave is being hypo-critical.

The fsg n tops were pretty bad but it all came up sparkly white.
Got splashed a fair bit but I'm not blind n no stains or holes in my clothes. Tidy job

Some might say only cowboys spray hypo/bleach about hence it's nicknamed yehaa
