It was another vacuum system, it sprayed the solution onto the glass you scrubbed and then vacuumed it off, they did release a
few and they do turn up on fleebay every so often.
I don't think they where any better than the household window vacs quality wise.

I don't think they did much to be honest, I only know about it because I nearly bought one on fleebay for doing the insides
put it this way I didn't bid more than a tenner for it and I think it sold for about £12.

For internal work I'm already aware of spray & vac type systems out there in the market place. Ionic pro 10 being one of them which seems to me based around a portable carpet cleaning extraction machine.   http://premierwindowcleaners.com/pro10system.html

Your going to get better tools and better ways of filtering and saving water but as far as being able to clean from the ground
safely is concerned then wfp isn't going anywhere for the foreseeable future if ever.
Better tools have made it easier quicker and safer but from day one window cleaning hasn't changed you loosen the dirt from the glass/frames and remove it, should you use vinegar and brown paper or filtered water and a brush the results are the same clean windows.
I honestly think the next big breakthrough in window cleaning will only be a benefit to the customer in other words it will be something that means they no longer need us,but I cant see it happening in most of our lifetimes so no need to panic.

A better way of filtering water is something I do hope will come along sooner rather then later.
Filtering 1000s of litres a week through an ro is expensive, time consuming and very wasteful.

Yes the Karcher was similar to the Karcher vacuum cleaner that goes on your back, it had a small tank for solution and another
for the waste water, I get the feeling it only went on the market in the US.

I think the production of purified water & usage for wfp is negligible to how much water is used per month in the average customers household myself. Say for instance the average detached property takes 25 litre to clean every 4-6 weeks and using a ro/di setup take say 75 litre to produce that 25 litre of purified water. That is still a drop in the ocean to  how much water is used per household in a month surely when they recon the average household water use for washing and drinking in the UK is about 150 litres a person daily.

Puts it into perspective don't it?

Plenty of water up in Cumbria if you want to help yourself.

How about a product that you add to purified water that helps the water to run off the glass quicker and make your work even shinier and the frames gleam like new. That could be the next thing.

Something to purify Water more efficiently and quicker would be good .

Cumbria and parts of West Yorkshire are really struggling
Heavy rain today and tonight and wet Saturday isn't going to help

I'm in the Las Vegas Wynn hotel as we speak and the windows are absolutely filthy, they are tinted bronzed colour and it makes no difference to how they look, covered in dust.
