Dead end detected when connected to the hose reel
« on: November 29, 2015, 05:29:16 pm »
Just bought a new controller and sureflow pump,it worked ok on friday.
But now it will only pump water when its not connected to the hose reel.
I have checked the hose isn't kinked anywhere, on both the hose reel and pole hose.
The battery is 12.4
As soon as I dis-connect it from the reel it pumps.
Have even tried a different reel and brush, its still the same.
Has anyone any ideas please.?

Have you calibrated it ?

Could be air lock - have you unwound the reel fully then tried the pump

sounds like cal is set to zero or close , or .....do you have the water stops on any of the fittings ?
I'm so lazy I'm getting tired of it !

Ive just sorted it.
It was the hoselock connectors, I changed them for the ones that don't have the plastic cross in them that stops the water flow.
It was the one on the inlet that was causing the problem
 Thanks for replies

I was outside doing it while you posted, for some reason I changed the outlet and one on the reel ,but forgot the inlet.
Thanks.
