Loving the Buffalo
« on: November 21, 2015, 08:50:28 pm »
I bought a couple of Buffalo Belay jackets a few weeks back. Have to say I love them. Just a tee shirt underneath this morning and very toasty. Well impressed.

Don't you find it a bit restrictive wearing a couple of jackets  ;).

Ordered yesterday the mountain shirt, either of these are perfect for work

I got the ones with the zip down the front - honestly think I'd boil to death in the other version they are so warm.

Tlwcs and Dave.

Great link that.

What would you recommend for me 6 shirt or belay jacket.
Do you wear sweatshirt underneath

I'm waterfed pole, not trad.

I live in Essex, so not too cold here.
6° low today reaching 10°
Raining but going out soon.

Thanks lee.

I like the special 6 shirt, it's  just so warm. You can vent it by lowering the side zips.
What  size are you? There are bargins on eBay

I've found mine so hot I've been glad of the front zip. I found the sizing to be a tad on the large size - I normally wear large but wear a medium Bufallo. I haggled a bit and got the price down. Second hand ones still seem to go for £60  :o

Hi. Tony.

I'm 44 in chest. 6 foot tall.
Usually xl.

I'll email buffalo direct regarding sizes.
Amazon have some similar price to ebay.

Think there around £150 6 shirt or belay rrp but as you say some deals about.

Don't mind around. £100 looks like either shirt or jacket will last years.

Thanks again Dave and Tony.
