Di swap for 10"housing ?
« on: November 14, 2015, 09:01:56 pm »
Just changed vans and want to lighten up a bit , is it possible to get a clear 10" housing with the refillable insert for my resin but to have hozelock ins and outs on it , if so , anybody know where best to get it ?
Also will this even be possible with regards to the pressure DI v Filter housing ?

Thanks in advance   Rich

10 inch canster holds about 3 cup fulls on resin so you will kill the resin in no time especially if you are di only surely?

My water goes in pure  002  on a bad day , i have always used a di on the van as matter of course , a final polish if you like , but i have just gone from 1200 payload to 600  so it all helps now !

Gardiners do one, have used it in my old van set up but not my new van. I think mine used jg fittings but I used push fit hose barbs so it could be run inline to the reel on 1/2" hose. If all you need is a polish for ro water then it does the job and a doddle to change ( every couple of weeks for me, had an inline tds meter as well just after it so was easy to know when to ).
