Hey all:http://www.getreading.co.uk/news/business/reading-born-mum-creates-uks-10425378This has merits but the business model needs looking at. I searched the cost for my house which was quoted at £18.00 . Now I would charge £12.00 for a maintenance clean and at least £20.00 for a one off/first clean. Plus, how much would actually go to the windy who did the clean after they have taken their 'cut'?Thoughts on a postcard?[/I think it may be ok for newbies or those without much work. Will it work long term though as a viable business? A decent window cleaner is very rarely available within 24 hours to do a job - especially if it's just a one-off. We'll see.
It would be a great business, her problem is getting enough suckers window cleaners to sign up under contract.Would I be willing to drop everything, stop my regular cleaning work, to rush over the other side of town for a one off clean for £7 to £10 🤔 - I think notDarran
I think its a great idea tbh and will be using it.A lot of the time i haven't got time to do my first cleans so i can just use these guys
Her website says she couldn't find a window cleaner when she moved house, so basically she wanted to pay next to nothing and have some mug do it the following morning. We've all had those calls.
Her website says...'an experienced and professional window cleaner will clean your windows'That's me out then
