Ok guys loads of different brush heads, I need to pick one up to do some cladding, I can't upload pic my iphone no longer has the reply/quote/modify options at the bottom for some reason.

Am looking for one to go on the extreme 47 pole, ( and 2 extentions in places ) I currently have a sill brush on it which is great for the flat surface but no good we're the cladding is uneven, dosent get into the grooves

Used brodex sill brushes on similar job which was good enough but to heavy to use with these poles at heights.

Thanks
Matt

Any of the Extreme brushes for me thank you (elbow problems) and when the going gets tough, a medium radius sill brush.
Alex, when are you going to do a lighter radius sill brush?
I'd pay good money for one of those babies!

The radius sill brushes are already the lightest available Sill brushes at about 225g  :) - we are in the middle of finishing a new and improved range of sill brushes and other variants, but I doubt that we can get the weight any lower.

If your not getting at least 6 months from an Xtreme medium mixed then your way too heavy handed, I get well
over a year from mine but I don't use it to clean sills as the majority of the properties I clean have unpainted concrete
which I don't touch.
Xtreme medium mixed for all my window cleaning and Xtreme stiff for f/s/g cleaning.

yes but you only work a few days a week sean and dont work in bad weather ;D
price higher/work harder!

Alex, your sill brushes are great and I'm sure they are the lightest. But you know what customers are like; especially those with aching limbs! We just want it: better, cheaper, quicker, faster...and lighter. No pressure!

In all fairness the sill brush must be a difficult nut to crack. I'm guessing a carbon fibre sill brush would be too expensive. Think of the kudos though  ;D

It would be the pinnacle of brush design. Go on, you owe it to yourself.

The best standard weight brush I've used and by that I mean supreme-super lite-Vikan is the Xline mono hands down,I have used this brush for over a month and the bristles are still the same shape as the day I got the brush and I have not lost 1 bristle from it as yet. It cleans effortlessly literally just a couple of passes up and down the glass and it's enough to get the job done, compared to say an supreme mono or flocked with a slight tilt it jumps 100 percent less  on standard leads and standard being older leadlights not wafer thin PVC leads .Anything above a modern 3 storey building you can't beat the extreme brushes but for run of the mill day to day work the Xline IMO is the best out there at the moment, that's coming from someone that has more brushes than salmon lol

The Xline bristles are the key not the stock not the jets it's the bristles themselves, they are packed full of bristles that's what means less scrubbing on the glass to get it cleaned. They have a quality feel to them almost like silk.

NWH have you tried the flocked version as well? I would like to give the xline a go soon but cannot decide whether to go for mono or flocked.

I like the Supreme hybrid soft, good all round brush. The boars hair middle section is pretty good for scrubbing more stubborn marks off the glass.
My favourite at the mo is the tecbuk 38% boars hair brush (red and black). It's the best for getting snail trails  off with the fewest passes, very pleased with it.
Also like the Xtreme brush, medium mixed. The only downside (for me) is that the bristles seem to collapse onto the glass when cleaning at angles too easily and there doesn't seem to be enough bristles packed into the stock to give a thorough scrub. Shame, cos I like the weight but not it's ability.

Anyone know if the X-line brushes are compatible with an Xtreme pole & quick-loc plastic gooseneck.

I've used them on my Xtreme poles. The plate can be exchanged as they are the same.
X-line is slightlę  heavy but has far more bristles than Xtremes/Supremes
Maybe more comparable to a Superlight?  I don't know what the bristles are made from but they hold their shape and scrub white plastic really well. If you're a speed merchant then you need to slow your technique - actually makes for a relaxing day scrubbing slower but more thoroughly.

Out of all the brushes available I'm on about the average weight brushes ie supreme superlite etc and other similar brushes the Xline brush is the best,I've tried them all. I've not had another brush for years that keeps it shape with hot water and doesn't look knackered after about 3 weeks, other brushes mentioned look like they've had it after about a month or so.

I binned the angle adapted and put it straight on a carbon gooseneck, that plastic angle those type of brushes come with give you the wrong angle anyway.

All those brushes with the flocked bristles feel heavier, they hold water as well as cobwebs galore.

Buy the mono version it's much better on the glass, flocked brushes drag and that's what makes them feel heavy.

I think the X-line mono is probably the closest you can get to a one brush does all. No need for anything else really - enough bristles and splay to wipe the cills, good enough for leaded windows too.
