Just has to be the Gardiners Smart clamp combined with the Extreme pole metal bands. I never, ever adjust the clamp tension anymore - just extend - clean and collapse the pole - brilliant. Shame they can't be integrated into the SLX too.

same here too dave.very little adjusting of the clamps now.the metal clamping bands are a good upgrade to the xtreme reducing wear.

I like using the aqua-adaptor , but may get the 1shot remote and then could get a Xtreame .

Is there a new Gardiner pole coming out soon ?
