SMASH!!!!!
« on: July 15, 2015, 08:21:58 pm »
Doing a job this morning. It has rear patio doors out to steps with a glass surround. Always a tight squeeze. Today its got a chair and plant pot stand. I was just finishing and smash. WTF that? I white pot thing with a battery smashed. O poop.
This guys was in. Guessed it was owner, as always women in. Told him I smashed it. He said he was sparky and don't worry about it. I said, I will tell them you broke it then :) "its nothing" I said, "don't think she will think so".He said, he has known them 30 years and would say he broke it. We will see.
Getting sick of summer junk in gardens. Solar lights etc. Plant pots. Doesn't bother me in winter

Other than going through someone's extension roof some 20+ years back and the odd flower pot, I haven't broken much over the years other than cheap solar lights. Broken loads of them, several already this year. They're an absolute pain.

Broke a big plant pot couple of months ago, customer not in so I left a note to tell them I had broken it, didn't hear anything back from them so thought they mustn't be bothered about it . On the next visit they were in, they still didn't say anything, when I finished cleaning windows I chapped the door and asked for £10 and told him that the last clean would be free as I had broken the plant pot on last visit, he handed me £5 and said the pot was worth 15 quid  >:(

Don't you just love some people.  ;D
I bet it was old and the frost had got to it so would just fall apart if it was moved.
