Have You Seen The New Woodbridge ?
« on: May 04, 2006, 03:40:55 pm »
Just thought i would ask if enyone out there in cleaning land has iether seen
or perhaps has bought the new Wooodbridge Portable. The Powermate was
the first machine i bought some 12 YRS ago and is still going strong and used
as a backup. I therefor would be interested to find out more about this machine.
I understand that the price of it is between £1,500 & £1,600 and has a 400 psi
pump, that being the case it would make it a good value buy for a powerful
portable.

                                     Take Care John

Is this machine the mytee speedster 1003? ? If so do you use it as your primary machine Peter and would you recommend it for starting up a carpet cleaning business with.

I have just recieved info on it through the post this morning on the mytee speedster and it's straight on my short list with its dual 3 stage vac and 450 psi. The price is £1599 + vat or £1299 + vat with no kit
It looks fantastic too.

Also how is woodbridge as a company? ? It's pretty far from where I live but I'd consider buying from them if the aftersales etc was top rate.

cheers

Who does the ninja and do you have a link to it mate, I've heard quite a lot about it but have only really been considering companies up North up to now. Is it not a solvent cleaner? Just read some old posts, I'm looking for a hwe

Andy,
The machine peter has is the mytee1003.
Although the heat exchanger isnt as good as a v2,the vac system has more cfm than a ninja and the pump is a solid pumptec.I have had a couple of ninjas and idont think theres much difference in build quality between the 2.
Just my opinion though, give peter acall or drop him amail hes had a ninja prochem scorpion cfr and mytee all in the last 6 months.

sorry to disagree steve but my ninja outperforms my two mytees on vac power  u can really feel the diff in pulling power i hav even done tests on the 3 machines and the ninja recoverd more waste water every time  and the build q is a lot better  the mytees parts look bit on the cheap side compared to the ninja  but they still are a good machine capable of running from a van using 75-100ft hose  if u use one side by side u would go for the ninja if u had to choose
