Hi, just wondering how far you travel for domestic window cleaning? The area I live in has a lot of competition and tbh I feel like a  change of scenery lol.

At the moment I probably have a 10 mile radius max that I travel but the thought of traveling further afield interests me  a lot, obviously targeting more well to do areas where the decent money is.

Thanks.

I cover about a 40 mile radius.

Aslong as the money's there then go for it.

The difficulty you will have is building up a round that Is compact enough to justify the travel.

Every minute you spend driving Is lost income really.

My farthest job is about 17 miles away to the north and to the south.  East to west, less so.

I travel upto 20 miles, bought a round which is easy money- terraced houses/ front only needs doing one next to each other. Like jonny87 said- if the money is there... Go for it!

In lots of ways this last statement is true,  but if your local town is flooded with scallies charging buttons,  it sometimes pays to travel
I was warned off a round of council houses by a windy I know where he charges £2.50 a pop
I was speechless  :)

About 30 miles. We do mainly very large properties and if they are out on a limb they get charged for all of the travelling.

Same here mate.
I had chance of a small round about 10 miles away, but my thinking was this. Sometimes a customer expects me to go out of my way to say collect money. Its only 10 mins drive for me. If round is 10 miles away, this would be a massive burden. Petrol and time etc
A commercial clean for a days wage is worth it. No messing about

95% pay direct into bank. You always get some who refuse. Some old lasses have no chance of paying any way but cash
