I used to be addicted to this site a few years back , was always great characters on here back then.
Where have they gone?
When I do come on here now I tend to spend a few minutes rather than hours.
Something is missing these days , cant say for sure what it actually is.
Is it just me or do others feel the same?
By the way this post is not designed to put this site down, I would definitely say 100% that I would not be where iam in the business these days if it were not for CIU

I used to come on loads too - but don't think i have been on for about 2 years. I only came on today cos something happened at work that really wound me up so i did a search to see if similar things had been posted on here.

I guess i decided that being on ciu was just work. when i get home i mostly want to forget about work.

On a side note though - Can we expect customer loyalty? from a customer you have had for 21years (twenty one years) - weekly job - no complaints ever - very reasonable price. but suddenly dumps you cos a friend is gonna do it!!!

I lost one in a similar situation a few weeks back, a great customer who wanted to support a friend who had started cleaning.
Cant blame her as I would have done the same and my friends and family done the same when I started out, to be honest I
wish some of them had stayed with the cleaner they already had.
But that's another topic.

Yes had similar. .. A family member had just started up.

I just think its a really crappy way to treat someone after such a long quality service - it was a shop front - over those 21 yrs I have done countless "freebies" when passing the shop and some a-hole has left last nights kebab on it. never missed a clean.

Its not like its his family - just some dude he went to school with and comes in for his hair cutting.

I wouldn't do it.
