Haha I liked the banana brush reference, the stock on my tecbuk has just started bending now that you mention it!

The medium mixed hybrid definitely bears a resemblance to the tecbuk, similar shape, weight and both with the course scrubbing patch in the center.
I love my tecbuk and it's lasted me months, longer then any other brush iv used, I hope these new brushes can match that.

I really wish I went for the flocked or soft mixed supreme, they look great in that video. Let us now how you get on with them number 23

Tried the two mediums today. Couldn't really tell much difference between the two. Nice to use.

I will be using them tomorrow to see if they jumping leads,that's the acid test for me with any brush these days. If it dosent work well without jumping on lead it will drive me mad

I can't understand why the brushes arnt wider, I find those small brushes harder to work with.
I think the wider the better ,, you can clean more glass in less time

im thinking of trying a couple of these as my extremes are literally falling apart but i put up with that because of the lightness, im thinking of trying the flocked and the soft hybrid but whats the difference between a hybrid and none hybrid?

I'm sending them back as they don't work on leads I'm afraid or Georgian windows, they bump and flick water all over the place.  IMO this model is almost unusable on anything but flat paned glass,I'm also not going for the sacrifice weight for design as some have said   They have made the best brushes in the past there first dual mono was superb packed full of bristles and floated over lead but was too heavy for a light pole,certain brushes can make a job take a lot longer if they don't float over obstacles like lead and plastic-wooden bars. If a pole is really really light the brush needs to feel like it's not even on the other end otherwise it's really noticeable even if it's a small amount in weight you feel it at the base of the pole. At some point I will make my point via a video showing how a stiff extreme does all this brush does with the right technique. Cross between a Vikan oval and sill brush

The medium hybrid is literally unusable on lead but brilliant on standard windows.
Luckily I haven't had to clean one leaded window this week but will be buying a soft hybrid soon as my switchover brush for lead.
Although judging by the positive comments surrounding the soft brush it might end up staying on my pole.

I don't know how you clean WFP but I don't want to start another row but I'm quick,with regular cleans and by that I mean even 2-3 monthly work is easily done with a mono extreme with hot water so there is no need for the extra weight or splay in this new brush. Why does anyone need a brush to splay that much it's not needed,you only need a certain amount of splay on box sashes apart from that there's no great need for a brush that looks flat or folds flat. When you start chopping a brush out in the middle it loses its ability to glide over lead or bars it will just jump and stop and give you golfers-tennis elbow having to manoeuvre it around twisting your wrists. Like I said I will do a vid to show what I mean
