I have go Cardless printed on all my customers payment slips...I'm finding no ones going for it they all prefer the Bacs option.

how much would it cost you in charges if you had say 2k worth of work on gocardless?

BACS costs me nothing and most customers pay within 14 days.
price higher/work harder!

you should get an email statement at some point regarding charges.
1%  is a lot less than credit card charges.

Thanks Damo, I was curious about this one too!

Makes sense to me to add one expense line item yearly (for total GoCardless fees over year) rather than one expense per clean.

Makes for much simpler accounting than hundreds or thousands of itty bitty fees clogging up your expenses tab.

Its something i have been doing since i started with CG last year , Now i have added PayPal charges in previous years and accountant has not raised any concerns or issues so CG must be exactly the same .

As much as £20 or as little as £2.

You have to mess around with columns and auto sum. But makes it easier.

Most of mine do too, Go Cardless is a useful option for those that would otherwise forget to make the payment or make sporadic  payments. If you're using integrated software such as Cleaner Planner it also saves time because with BACS  payments you have to go through your bank statements to see who's paid and mark them off.
