Battery Box - bought or home made
« on: March 11, 2015, 10:22:44 am »
I operate a battery for my WFP system which is wired into my main Tranny Connect's battery through a "split" relay. I'm no techie, but as I understand it, as I drive round my main car battery charges the other.

I need a battery box (I think) as the battery - although quite chunky - can move around in the back of the van.  I need a fixing bracket and some kind of water protection as my brush sits just above it.

Any brilliant ideas please?

are you after something like this:

you could use battery or luggage straps to tie it down. it all depends where a battery will be(is) fitted.

Martin's right, the terminals need to covered as 12v dc causes fires if shorted out.
And the box will hold it all in place.
