Hi Have got to clean some solar panels for the first time tomorrow any useful tips ? Do I need to get the custy to turn them off or anything before cleaning ? ThanksScott

You can electrocute yourself cleaning solar panels - here's how you do it ........ crawl under the one inch gap between the panel and the tiles, next locate the wires that come out of the back of the panel and disconnect, next reach into your pocket for some handy wire strippers and peel back the insulated coating. Once you've done this it should be safe to grasp the bare wires with your hands and try to electrocute yourself - good luck.Don't forget to post how you got on!
We stopped offering solar panel cleaning due to one of our guys being electrocuted - badly!We are now off into gardening instead
