Hi guys,

I have been asked to clean the house after builders. It looks like they didn't give a toss about the stone floor in the kitchen and it is covered in plaster, same as laminate floor in some of the rooms. Could you advice me on what to clean it with and how, please?

Knock off any snotters and then use a diamond brush and phosphoric acid then hone it with 220 Grit honing powder.  That is the stone floor only I mean.

For the laminate you would need to use a ceramic hob scraper to get the blobs off. Be careful not to scratch the floor. Then sweep the floor (dont vacuum as floor tool may scratch)  to remove any grit etc and clean with a good quality microfibre mop (keep changing heads) and some glass cleaner or a wood floor cleaner like Bona Wood Cleaner that evaporates quickly.

Thanks for your help guys. I did use scraper on laminate, it was the only way I could think of. The stone came out really good.
