I need water!!
« on: January 14, 2015, 11:30:22 am »
Hi,

Not the best weather to be a window cleaner today if ya up north ha.
Anyway, i'm going to be setting up my own business in less than a few weeks, ive just made a 2k round in the last 3 months for a company called 'uk window clean' - its all franchise and i have never come across a dodgy company like these. They get you in, make u canvass everyday till 8pm bearing in mind you got al ya cleans to do, and fund ya self etc etc.

So fuk em, i will retain that 2k round. Only issue i got is im on a water meter and it aint my house, my dads a tight ass. i will be needing to fill a 650L tank, just water im looking to pure it in the tank.

I've rang local companys trying to see if i could use them for a small fee to fill up every now and again, no joy so far.
If anyone reads this and is near Huddersfield area and wants to give me water then gimme a shout.
If not could anyone suggest where i could find a 147 gallons of water every 3 days?

Im am up North - Huddersfield to be exact.

Thanks

UK Window Clean has been canvassing all around West Yorkshire for a while - it has been said AFIK that they are the biggest bunch of undercutters ever seen for a long, long time.
Not asking "Do you want a window cleaner." but "How much do you pay for window cleaning we will do it for less."
This your company?

No mate not my company, belongs to a muti millionaire believe it or not, he lives in spain. The guy is a idiot, Justin.

I was on franchise with them built up 2k in 3 months, they tried to take it all off me as they are dodgy idiots, got rid because I wouldn't stay out canvassing till 8pm everyday including sundays. Ive got a family to look after ya know.

I want to retain the round which I can as I sold it on face value.

I'm just in need of a supplier of pure water within the west Yorkshire area, can ya help?

Cheers

edit: I would say customers are very loyal up this way, out of my 130 customers ive never under-cut once. Sold on face value and the fact I can sell. Clean them windows to high standard and word of mouth spreads.

Its a an outside tap, I read somewhere it takes someone 3 hours to fill a 350L tank, id be looking at 6-7 hours on an outside tap.
Not practical is it?

I'm hoping someone locally to me will see this and let me use their supply for a small fee everytime il fill up pure or non pure.

Why don't you make an offer to your dad and take over the water bill from him and put towards the cost of paying your keep :)

agree
had the same issue with my mum and step dad when i started out, wanted to fill at theirs but they had silly concerns about the water meter and hose pipe bans etc.
best advice however you decide to purify is add an additional water meter ( in line ones can be bought from ebay etc.) and put it on the outside tap.
your dad can then see how much water you use and can charge you for it when his bill comes in, that way there would be no cost to him. ;)
