Mick its a reads bit preachy and opinionated to me and slightly goes of the point which should be if
you don't like canvassing or door knocking which many people don't then your company will offer this service
for them.
No need to mention things like why you think some people are ruining the business you just need to let
customers know that you will not only get them work but top priced work.
Also opinions on which is best wfp or traditional methods are best kept on forums as I'm sure you will want custom
from both.
You selling canvassing not wfp equipment.
I'm sorry mate I'm no expert on this but it just didn't read right for me.

I dont think u need to worry about the content or even the look of your website. Good window cleaning canvassers are close to non-existant and those that are good are flat out and booked up months in advance. If you are good then the same will happen for u regardless of how your website looks. I would like to try out your services and if you are good i will use you again and again as i am sure will most other window cleaners. I am based in Redhill Surrey and have a round that is quite large geographically. Call me if you want some work Matt 07988 153247.

And how are people going to know if he's a good canvasser or not ? if he didn't have to worry about a website then he
wouldn't need one.
I know he's a good canvasser and you know he's a good canvasser but thats not the advice he needs.

If you paid for it, demand your money back. It looks awful on HD screens & even worse on small screens.

If its a DIY job or a mate helping you out then its ok - but keep working on it,...

Agreed about the info but i didnt want an empty bland website as there isnt that much i could realy put apart from how its getting a tougher and more busy game and will only get harder gaining work as many know. Leople either want to use a canvasser or they dont. My main concern is if it looks pro enough?.
Thanks to darren for calling me up with the advice and chat regarding the commercial game, ill forward that to the designer later on.
I have always had a good relationship with whoever i have round built for in the past and still get calls and emails today from when i was doing it 4 years back before growing my business. Out of all the canvassing i have done i have only had 1 unhappy client where 70 percent dropped out in a nice area of surrey which turned out to not be my fault even though he insists it was  >:(
Im not looking to be canvassing long term but for the next year or 2 while i sell my domestic work whilst building a commercial cleaning company up ill be doing it in the background for reliable regular cleaners and not in 1 off chunks.
Ill be working with 2/3 cleaners a month doing £250 chunks at a time so i can make sure the quality of work will be as good as can be to save any problems that arise with rushing about doing it S quick as possible.
Im as fair as they come and as many know i enjoy the challange of building compact work up.
Im not out to be competition for whizz bizz or p dale and ill pass any enquirys that are there ends to them without expecting the same back as i know its there sole income even though good old p dale has sorted me out a client(a top man).

Ouch. I found it to look fine on my mob, laptop and tablet. When you say awful do you mean the layout or the site in general??

What's making you sell up your domestic work Mick ? you have  some very handy well paying work on your
books cant see you getting better on the commercial side of things.

Yep i have mentioned that to him already about changing that as im an owner and not a company director. He thought it would look more proffesional so is on his list to change.

Hi Mick,

Being honest it doesn't feel/look very slick/professional to me - have you seen this site, I just did a really quick google and clicked on a this link, this (imho) feels sharper - its concise and more about what the service does for you. Also is that you in the photo? If not I really think you could get some pictures of you/team on the site too so people can see who they are using/representing their company.

http://www.mysalesup.com/pricing

Good luck with the venture - as the others have said - if you get quality leads you will be stacked with work but initially the website could look much nicer x

Anyways hth - Mrs Smudger

All that black writing on a white background. I read the first two lines then gave up. Far too much text for one page.

Ill only sell if i can get top money(10 cleans plus) it is brilliant work. For me the future is commercial cleaning, more money in it and also job satisfaction. Im going strengh to strengh with gaining my own contracts and contacts in the game and im being recomended all over the place and whats holding me back is maintaining all the domestic. I cant grow anymore domestic as have over 1200 on the books and if im honest its a headache as forever getting calls and texts then playing catch up with bad weather etc. Vin has the right idea by franchising but as i havnt a clue or hunger for it i have decided to sell (providing i can get a good price) if not maybe ill get a manager in who knows. All i know is im hungry to do well in the commercial game and with me canvassing untill i get to the level ill be happy at i dont see it being a bad move.

Honestly - if you're paying for it its a really bad site. The width of the site isn't capped, so on my 27" QHD monitor the text is stretched all over the screen & everything is out of line - - but then on screens with a resolution less than 800pixels you'd need to scroll around the page to read it.

A layout that is "responsive" to the size of screen its viewed on is a standard feature on 99% of new websites these days - and its essential when so many types & sizes of devices are used to browse the internet.

Ouch. I found it to look fine on my mob, laptop and tablet. When you say awful do you mean the layout or the site in general??

Hi mick.
Firstly I thought the website looked fine. Simple yet effective, deffo more pleasing on the eye then gardiners new set up!
Secondly I'd be very interested in using your services in February. I'm looking to ditch all my builders clean work and replace it with £1000 worth of domestics.
I'm based in aldershot, hants, not to far from London.
Do you cover my area?
I checked out whizzbiz but there booked up miles in advance and I'm looking for something sooner, can't stand the site work much longer
