What happens if they are a no show or you get there and someone else has arranged for plumbing work to be done and there is no other source of water. I know its unlikely but it does happen. Not a major issue if you are an owner operator but if you have staff giving up their Saturday or Sunday they will expect their overtime. It may be that they have been given a day off during the week that you are now down. In these situations we pay them a minimum of 4 hours including traveling time and client is liable for that. Just be prepared for these things in your quote acceptance/contract.

I think you hit the nail on the head Jamie for a owner/operator it a pain when it goes pair shaped for a employer it can hit you in the pocket if you don't cover your back side
