after break feel happy to work an extra hour a day as not so knackered so that's about 1 day extra a week after 4 weeks that's an extra week so same money could only work 8 til 1:30 2ish now do 8 til 3 plus got incentive to work harder

most of my work is 4 weekly.

some 6 weekly/8 weekly.one 12 weekly and one job twice a year.

i have 300+ jobs and always seem to find time for add on jobs etc AND still end up with a few days off at the end of the month to chill before the next months onslaught.

im very organised though and work efficiently when "on the glass". :) most of my work is ultra compact though.

How do you manage 4 and 6 weekly? Does that not mean going back to an area just two weeks after you were already there? Would be a pain with my work.

Also don't know how you manage to have days off if you work 4 weekly but good on you if you do. 4 weekly just seems like a never ending cycle to me now. To have days off/do extras I need to give myself the extra few days that monthly gives me.

nearly all my work is in the same 3 mile area jonny.the 6 weekly work is down different roads to 4 weekly/8 weekly so no going back twice. ;)

sometimes i spend 4 or 5 days on an estate as i have that much compact work!other work is also very close.hardly any driving time at all.thats why i only do 2500-3000 miles a year in my van(i just use it for work).

it takes me around 15 mins to get to where most of my work is from my flat every day(5 miles).no work is over 10 miles away from home.

i usually work 9am-4pm 5 days a week mostly.sometimes half days and the odd saturday and still end up with 3 or 4 days off at the end of the month.sometimes a week depending if its a 5 week month.also this year ive earnt £17,000 more than 5 years ago when i was 100% trad.

this year ive had around 8 weeks off in total including xmas break and summer holidays.

as for add ons i usually fit them in next time i clean the customers windows if its for a regular customer and it usually doesnt disrupt my schedule too much.for non regulars i usually fit them in on a saturday.

best regards

Do most still have monthly rounds I would think you could get much more for jobs doing jobs less frequently,if your not so regular you will find people will be prepared to pay more per clean

I still get people wanting fortnightly cleans. A month is the longest most want to wait. Especially the house proud types.

Plus most people are paid monthly so it fits in with their expenses. Works both ways.

Just under 5k more this year than last year kempy.

And 3k extra every year for the last 4 previous years so 17k in 5 years on top of my previous yearly earnings.

Should be extra 3k next year then I think I'll have reached a plateau in my business unless I employ or work longer.non of which interest me.
