Got my trolley and stuff through today.   Could i practise using my gear with tap water (unpurified water)-    Ljust want to see if it works? Also should I buy a tapaulin to put on backseat of car for my barrels of water?   Will get bareels from car wash, is it ok to just rinse them out with tap water- is a little unpurified tap water not going to contaminate the gear?

you'll be fine running tap water throught it as long as you flush through with pure after, but remember if you're practising with tap water on your windows they are going to dry out leaving chlorine and mineral content on the glass, if you're getting barrels from the local car wash you will do well to buy a tds meter as you won't be able to judge if they're cleaned out well enough to not contaminate any pure you put into them

Just rinse your barrels out mate then empty them a tiny bit of tap water
in them will make no difference at all

Make sure you secure the barrels to the back seat in case of accident.

I reckon I could get about 8 barrels on my backseat and also heard that it wouldn't be good for the seat if the pure water leaked.  Tauplin or large plastic containers which could hold four barrels on the backseat?

Just get yourself a trailer your car will take some abuse lifting barrels in and out. pure water
wont do any more harm to your seats than tap.
Condensation and mould getting into the car would be your biggest concern.

i may do in the future but for now tauplin?  dont have any space where i live to put a trailor; live in shared house.

Pure water will burn a hole straight through fabric seats, similar to acid.

Seriously - put your back seats down and put the barrels on the floor - I did this all the time in my Honda.
