You should have just been honest with her.......

Yeah sorry love, they will dry spotty and crap. The other day I was looking out my kitchen window and I was wishing this sun would go away.

We had a customer for over 4 years who was never in when we cleaned the windows. Always got complimented and recommended for the good job we did.

Then about a year ago she was in when we cleaned the house and was horrified that we left them wet. We replied as you did that we have always done them this way and you have been happy with the results. She was not having any of it and wasn't listening to any explanation. She is in her mid 30's so she should be more flexible with regard to change.

The next clean was done and then our services were cancelled by him.

They now have a trad cleaner who walks all over their front roof tiles over the integral garage and front door entrance to clean the bathroom and toilet window above.
