It wont match scrubbing power mate, i use them when i can i guess. Your best bet is too go with the white/blue hybrid brushes :)

I use superlite for 1st cleans and extreme for regular cleans, weight difference is unbelievable and changes the feel of any pole!!

Extremes dont clean certain dirts on the glass. Insect poo doesnt come off with them.

Xtreme black and white will clean anything its the only brush I use now for windows, the superlite is like a brick
compared to it.
No worse than any other brush for removing bird and insect poo.
They do take a bit of time to get used to when you have been using a brush with more bristles but once mastered you
will never look back.

i use both.mainly the extremes on maintenance cleans esp if i have a lot of awkward angle windows but i agree with matt the extreme doesnt scrub as effectively on say 2 monthly work near main roads/near trees.

the gardiners super scraper helps though when using extremes  ;)
price higher/work harder!

The best brush is going to be the new superlite medium mixed hybrid with the lighter stock  ;) ;)

Xtreme black and white will clean anything its the only brush I use now for windows,

Pick a window with a healthy splattering of insect poo. Clean it with an extreme brush, then go indoors and look at it when the sun is low in the sky once it's dried. Your insect poo will still be there, spoiling the clean, making it look like you're an amateur and encouraging the customer to look elsewhere because you haven't done your job properly.

I had been using the xtremes for a few years and then switched back to the supalites about 3 months ago.

First thing I noticed was the weight
Second thing the scrubbing power
Third thing the elbow ache

I've just switched back to extremes unless I really need the scrubbing power.  When you do high level work or a high volume of work, you need to be kind to your body.

Simon.

What an extreme? No ta. Unless they've implemented some sort of extra scrubbing power in them ;)

Thanks for the offer.

I use both. Have Superlights on main CLX 18s and an Extreme on a SLX 35.
Now you certainly can tell the difference in weight. I am tempted to get another SLX,  18 this time with an Extreme. I think that would be near to the perfect pole

Maybe the new gardiner brushes coming out will be a fix in between the two brushes now to solve both weight + scrubbing power. ::)roll

You lot are progressively becoming more like old women
everyday ;D

The difference between brushes in weight is tiny now
when i first started  i was using a 24ft universal pole with
a vikan sill brush on it anything lighter than that lot was a real
bonus.

Still got a flocked vikan sill brush use it to clean my car ;D

I personally like gardiners sill brushes,i only work up to
30ft max so the tiny weight saving for a lighter brush is pointless
to me for low level work :)

Wrong! I now use for most work an SLX18 with an Extreme brush. The difference is HOOJ!
