Nooooooooo!,

dont do it Daz!,

Your cougar may be a bit lacking in performance compared to a modern hot hatch, but it is cool and has soul (Unlike any modern hot hatch, or, perish the thought, audi!). Why on earth would you want to get rid of that and become a sheep?. The cougar isnt really isnt THAT slow, but if you find the cougar performance that dissapointing, look into fitting the running gear from a mondeo st 220, no reason it wouldnt fit as they more or less the same floorpan.

simon my cougar 2.5 V6 isnt that slow i agree!i love it!but it wont last forever!14 years old now and its still in good nick!i might keep it for another year yet.its the same engine as the st24 mondeo engine. :)

Yeah Daz, i know your cougar has the same engine as the st24, but i said st220, that has 3 litres and 220 bhp, woof! ;D
