Best advertising?
« on: August 13, 2014, 09:34:20 pm »
Hi guys, i know we have probably covered this topic quite abit in the past but just wondering what type of advertising works best for you? Have spent a small fortune on google adwords and not got the results i hoped for :-(  also i advertise on yell but is there any other forms of advertising that has worked very well for you? Checkatrade and local magazines are next on my radar :-)

All a waste of money in my experience, if you need work you need to knock doors, there's no better way.

Thanks for your useful input there hampshire :-) Lol.....  I agree if you want work fast then canvassing is the way but was just wondering what methods people used to get a nice slow steady increase of jobs? Don't mind paying for abit of advertising if you have a good round already but just looking to add a few extras :-)

A decent website and regular leaflet drops will bring you in a trickle of work, I get about 1 or 2 enquiries a week from my website.
I drop a few hundred leaflets every now and then and normally get a few calls.
